Quick answers

Which visit do I need?

If you want new glasses or a check-up, book a routine exam. If something is wrong with your eyes, tell the front desk, and they book a medical visit. If you are not sure, call us.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. Both doctors, Dr. Barraza and Dr. Contreras, see patients in Spanish and in English, and so does most of our front desk.

Will my plan pay for the visit?

A vision plan pays for routine exams and glasses. Medical insurance pays for visits about an eye problem. The front desk checks yours before the visit and tells you what to expect.

Can I fill my prescription somewhere else?

Yes. Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.

What should I bring?

Your glasses and contact lenses, your vision plan card and your medical insurance card, and a list of your medicines and eye drops.

What if it is an emergency?

For sudden vision loss, a curtain over your vision, an eye injury or a chemical splash, go to the emergency room now, or call 911.
