These are medical visits, billed to your medical insurance. The doctor explains what was found, and refers you when a problem needs more than we do here.

How these visits are billed
A visit about an eye problem or an eye disease is usually billed to medical insurance, not to a vision plan.
Medical insurance
Pays for the visit about the problem. Ask us to check whether your Medicaid plan covers it.
Vision plan
Pays for the routine part, such as an update to your glasses.
If you pay yourself
We tell you the fee before the visit and give a written estimate on request.
Questions about eye conditions
Can you check my eyes if I already have a diagnosis?
Yes. Bring your records and your list of medicines, and the doctor looks at where things stand and plans the follow-up.
What if I need another doctor?
We refer you to another doctor and send your records, and we stay in touch about your care.
Ready to book a visit?
Send us your name and number, or call. We will find a time that fits your week.
